Overview
The Canva AI Connector is Canva's hosted MCP server for AI agents. After you sign in to Canva, your agent can generate designs from a description, edit text and images in a design, search your designs and folders, export files, upload images and read or reply to comments. Most tools work on every Canva plan, including Free; resizing (beyond a limited trial), autofill and brand kits need Pro or above. It suits people who already make posts, decks or flyers in Canva.
It works on the designs already in your Canva account, and edits happen in an editing session that is only saved when the agent commits it.

Good to know
You make social posts or slides in Canva and want an agent to find a design, draft a new one or change its text for you. Connect the server, sign in to Canva and ask for one design task at a time.
Limits
- Resizing (a limited trial on Free), autofill, brand kits and brand templates need Canva Pro or above. On Free, exports are standard quality and designs with premium elements may not export.
- Each user is limited to 300 requests a minute across all their agents, with lower limits for some tools such as image generation.
