Overview
Gamma MCP is the server Gamma hosts so AI assistants can work with gammas, Gamma's name for its presentations, documents, webpages and social posts. From a chat request your assistant can generate a new gamma or start from a template, edit or read an existing one, and export it as PDF, PowerPoint or PNG. In Claude and ChatGPT it is the Gamma connector, added with a sign-in. It suits anyone who needs slides or a short document from notes or an idea.
You get a designed deck you can open and keep editing in Gamma, not just an outline in the chat.

Good to know
You have notes or an idea and want a presentation, document or webpage you can share. Gamma's hosted MCP server lets your assistant generate the gamma, edit it on request and export it as PDF, PowerPoint or PNG.
Limits
- Generating, editing and creating images use Gamma credits; reading, searching and exporting do not. Analytics tools need Pro or above.
- Edits can change, add or reorder cards on a page but cannot add new pages to a multi-page gamma, and only one edit runs on a page at a time.
