Overview

Zapier MCP is the connector Zapier hosts for AI agents. You add one web address to your agent and sign in with your Zapier account; your agent can then find and run actions in more than 9,000 apps, such as Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion and HubSpot. Each successful action uses two tasks from your Zapier plan, including the Free plan. It suits office workers and small teams who want their AI chat to act in the apps they already use.

One sign-in gives your agent actions across thousands of apps, so you do not need a separate connector for each one.

Good to know

You want your AI chat to act on something you are already discussing, such as adding a meeting to your calendar or a row to a sheet. Zapier MCP connects the agent to your Zapier account, and the agent picks and runs actions in your connected apps.

Limits

Every successful action, including trial runs and batch steps, uses two tasks from the same monthly allowance as your Zaps; at the limit, actions stop unless pay-per-task billing is on.
Actions can send messages or change records in your real apps. Start with a read action and check what the agent plans to write before you approve it.
