Overview

The Apify MCP server is Apify's official connector to Apify Store, a marketplace of thousands of ready-made tools called Actors, many of them web scrapers. You ask in plain words; the agent finds a fitting Actor, shows its input and price, runs it in Apify's cloud and reads back the results as structured data. You connect the hosted server and sign in to Apify in your browser. It suits researchers, marketers and small teams who need data from websites without writing a scraper.

One connection reaches thousands of ready-made scrapers, and the agent checks each one's price before it runs.

Good to know

Collect the recent reviews of a hotel from Google Maps and sort the complaints by theme, or compare the public pricing pages of three tools. The agent picks an Actor from Apify Store, runs it in Apify's cloud and reads the structured results.

Limits

Each Actor run is billed to your Apify account at that Actor's own price. Ask the agent to show the price first, and set a spending cap on the run.
Telemetry is on by default; it can be turned off with a setting. Collecting personal data from websites can break site terms or privacy law, so keep to public business data.
