Lets your AI agent find, summarize and update Jira work items and Confluence pages
Atlassian's hosted connector that lets an AI agent search and summarize Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian apps, and create or update work items and pages, always within your own permissions.
For Project teamsDevelopersContent creators
Atlassian is a software company that makes Jira, Confluence, Loom and other teamwork tools. Its stated mission is to help every team reach its potential through open work.
Atlassian MCP Server is the connector Atlassian hosts for AI tools. After you sign in with your Atlassian account, your agent can search and summarize Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, Loom and other Atlassian apps, and create or update work items and pages, always within your own permissions. There is no server to install: you add one web address to your agent or use its one-click setup. It suits project teams that already plan and document their work in Atlassian Cloud.
It is Atlassian's own hosted connector, so you connect with a sign-in, and every action follows the access you already have.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

From the creator's documentation.
| Toolset | What your agent can do | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Jira | Search, read, create and update work items | Read + write |
| Confluence | Search and summarize pages, and create new ones | Read + write |
| Search across apps | Search Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Goals and more in one request; uses Rovo credits | Read |
| Loom | Find recordings of videos and meetings and summarize them | Read |
| Jira Service Management | Read and update Jira Service Management data; needs an API token that an admin allows | Read + write |
| Admin-only tools | Delete and manage Jira items; off until an admin turns them on | Read + write |
You want your AI tool to read and act on work tracked in Jira and written up in Confluence. Atlassian hosts the server and connects through OAuth or an API token, so the agent sees only what your account can see.
