Overview
Palmier Pro is a multi-track video editor for the Mac with AI generation and an agent connection built in. You drop in your footage and ask an agent, through Claude Code, Codex or Cursor or in the app, to cut, caption and arrange it on the timeline, then adjust the result yourself. Paid plans add credits for generating images, video, music and voice, and Palmier's own chat agent. It suits creators, editors and small teams who make videos often.
Your agent works on the same timeline you see, so you can watch its edits, undo them and keep going by hand.

Good to know
You have raw footage and want an agent to make a first cut with captions that you then refine. Palmier Pro exposes its timeline to an in-app agent or to an external agent over a local MCP server.
Limits
- It runs only on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 26 or later. Current releases are closed source; only versions up to v0.7.6 were published under GPLv3.
- Generating images, video or audio needs Palmier credits; sign-up gives 250, after that a subscription is required.
