Overview

Korean Law MCP connects an AI agent to Korea's official legal database. It packs 42 government APIs into 10 tools that search statutes, precedents, administrative rules, local ordinances, treaties and legal interpretations. You ask in plain words and get the article text or decision, and you can paste an AI-written answer to check whether the laws and cases it cites exist. It suits people who work with Korean law, such as legal staff and civil servants.

Its citation check compares each cited article and case with the official database, so you can see whether an AI answer's references exist.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Show me Article 750 of Korea's Civil Act and its title.First try · read-only

  2. Check the legal citations in this answer against the official database: [paste an AI-written answer]

  3. How did Article 44 of the Road Traffic Act read on [date], and what has changed since?

  4. Find Supreme Court precedents on unfair dismissal and summarise three of them.

Good to know

You need the current text of a Korean statute, or want to check the laws cited in an AI-written answer. The connector looks them up in Korea's official legal database and reports what it finds.

Limits

  • The hosted server at mcp.gomdori.app is run by the author, so your questions and key pass through it. The local install sends requests from your computer to the government API instead.
  • The texts come from Korea's official legal database, mostly in Korean. Check anything important against law.go.kr before relying on it.
