Overview

Market Analysis MCP, published as tradingview-mcp by Ahmet Taner Atila, is a connector that gives an AI assistant 39 tools for stocks, crypto, forex and futures. You ask in plain words for the top movers on an exchange, a technical read on a ticker or a backtest of a simple strategy, and get tables and signals built from public market data. It runs free on your own computer with no market-data account, or as a paid hosted version called TradingMCP. It is an independent project, not affiliated with TradingView.

It needs no trading or market-data account, and it adds backtests and multi-timeframe checks that a plain price lookup lacks.

Good to know

Ask an AI assistant for a quick market read, such as the day's top movers on an exchange or a technical summary of one ticker. The connector fetches public market data and returns tables, indicators and backtest results the assistant can explain.

Limits

Results are computed from third-party market data that may be delayed or incomplete. The project states they are not financial advice, and it does not place trades.
The project warns that look-alike copies under other accounts install malware through npm. Use only this repository or the PyPI package tradingview-mcp-server.
