Lets an AI agent click, type and switch apps on your computer to do a task you describe
TuriX is a computer-use AI agent. You describe a task in plain words; it reads the screen, then clicks, types and switches between apps like a person. It comes as an open source agent and a separate Mac and Windows app.

Shenzhen New Generation Technology Co., Ltd. is a company that says it builds TuriX, an AI executor for general agent and computer-use work. Its open source agent is published on GitHub.

TuriX is a computer-use agent from Shenzhen New Generation Technology. You describe a task in plain words, and it reads the screen, then clicks, types and moves between apps the way a person would, without needing each app to offer an API. The maker's desktop app for Mac and Windows is a separate product with its own terms: it needs a TuriX account and runs on monthly credits, with a free plan. The open-source agent in the repository runs on a Mac with Python and your own model keys or a local Ollama model. It suits people who repeat the same steps across desktop apps.
It works through the screen itself, so it can still be used with apps that have no API or integration, such as chat apps or in-house tools.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

| Feature | What it does | Runs |
|---|---|---|
| Screen control | Clicks, types and scrolls in any app a person can use, without app-specific APIs | Your computer |
| Cross-app tasks | Carries one task across several apps, for example a browser, a spreadsheet and slides | Your computer |
| Model choice | The open-source agent can use other models or a local Ollama model, set in config.json | Your computer |
| Skills | Markdown playbooks that guide how it plans the steps for a kind of task | Your computer |
| MCP | Other agents, such as Claude for Desktop, can hand tasks to TuriX through MCP | Your computer |
| Desktop app credits | The maker's app runs tasks on monthly TuriX credits; the free plan has 200 | TuriX account |
Hand TuriX a multi-step task that crosses desktop apps, such as finding a price in a browser and writing it into a document. It reads the screen, clicks and types through each step, and you watch the actions as they happen.
