Overview
v0 is Vercel's AI agent for building web apps in the browser. You describe an idea, or give it a screenshot or Figma design, and it builds a working app with a live preview; you refine it in the chat or adjust styles by hand in Design mode. It can connect databases, payments and outside APIs, and publishes the app to Vercel from the chat. It suits designers, product people and founders who want a real app, and developers who want a head start on the code.
The result is real code you can read and comment on, sync to GitHub through pull requests or export, so the app is not locked inside v0.

Good to know
You want a landing page, dashboard or small web app and have a description or a mockup, not a developer. v0 builds a first version you can click through, then publishes it to Vercel when you are ready.
Limits
- The Free plan allows up to 7 messages a day; higher limits need a paid plan, and usage shows at v0.app/settings/usage.
- Apps that call outside services such as AI providers or payments need your own keys or accounts, added in the project's settings.
