The problem it solves

You need a short video for tomorrow's post, and writing, finding clips, recording a voiceover and adding subtitles would take all evening.

For Short-video creatorsSmall businessesSocial media managers

Before
You write a script, hunt for stock clips, record or buy a voiceover and line up subtitles by hand in an editor.
After
You type a topic; it writes the script, matches footage, adds voice, subtitles and music, and saves a finished portrait, landscape or square video.

Overview

MoneyPrinterTurbo is an open source app that turns a topic or keyword into a finished short video. It writes the script with an AI model, finds matching stock footage or uses your own clips, adds a voiceover, subtitles and background music, and exports portrait, landscape or square video. You work in a browser page on your own computer, and you can make several versions at once. It suits creators and small businesses who post short videos.

It covers the whole chain from topic to finished clip, and lets you swap in your own script, footage or voice at any step.

  4. Use my own clips from [folder] as footage and add subtitles at the bottom.

Good to know

Make a short explainer video from one topic line. The app writes a script, picks footage, adds a voiceover, subtitles and music, and saves the finished file on your computer.

Limits

  • Script writing needs a model provider key, and stock footage needs a free Pexels or Pixabay key; paid voice or AI video services add their own costs.
  • Stock clips are matched by keywords, so check that each shot fits the script, and check the music and footage terms before posting.
