Turns a novel, script or product photos into storyboards and short videos on your server
You have a story that would make a great short drama, but keeping the same characters across dozens of AI-generated shots is a mess.
For Short-drama and web-novel creatorsSmall video and ad teams
ArcReel is an open-source video workspace you run on your own computer or server. You give it a novel, a finished screenplay or product material; its built-in agent breaks the story into characters, scenes and props, plans episodes, draws storyboards and generates video clips with the image and video providers you connect, showing estimated and actual costs along the way. You get a rendered final cut or a Jianying draft to keep editing. It suits short-drama creators and small video teams.
It reuses character and scene references across shots, and you can review key stages, regenerate single assets or roll back.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

| Reference assets | Reuses character, scene and prop references across shots; regenerate or roll back any asset | Your server |
| Storyboards and clips | Generates storyboard images, video clips and optional voice-over through the providers you set up | Image and video APIs |
| Cost tracking | Shows estimated costs and actual usage for each provider | Your server |
| Final cut | Builds a timeline in the Edit view and renders a video you can download | Your server |
| Jianying draft | Exports a draft for the mainland-China Jianying editor to refine subtitles, audio and pacing | Your server |
Adapt a chapter of a novel or a short screenplay into a storyboarded short video on your own server. ArcReel's agent plans characters, scenes and shots, then generates images and clips through the providers you configure.
