Turns a short-drama script into a shot list with a keyframe image prompt for every shot

View on GitHub

The problem it solves

Your episode script is done, but every frame you generate shows the lead in a different jacket and the scene never cuts together.

For Short-drama screenwritersMotion-comic studiosDirectors

Before
You break the script into shots by hand and rewrite each image prompt from memory, so details drift between shots.
After
You get one storyboard file: each shot with its job, length, framing, start and end state, sound and an opening-frame prompt.

Overview

Short Drama Storyboard is one skill from ZenStory AI's Drama Skills suite. You give your agent an episode script; it writes a storyboard file where each shot has one job, a length, framing, camera move, start and end state and sound, plus a prompt for the opening frame. Looks that must stay the same across shots are pasted into every prompt word for word. It is built for Chinese-language vertical short dramas and motion comics, and suits screenwriters and motion-comic studios.

It plans which character, location and prop images each shot needs, so a character keeps the same look from shot to shot when you generate the frames.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Storyboard only scene 1 of this script: [paste a one-minute scene]. Then list any line of the script that no shot covers.First try · writes a file

  2. Write the storyboard and keyframe prompts for EP001. Keep the shots under 10 seconds each.writes a file

  3. For the confrontation scene, compare two ways to cover it with the camera before you pick one.

  4. For each shot in EP001, list which character, location and prop images I should attach, and in what order.

Good to know

You have a finished episode script and need a shot list before generating images or video. The skill writes each shot's purpose, length, framing and start and end state, plus an opening-frame prompt, into one storyboard file.

Limits

  • It writes text only and does not make images or video. The SKILL.md and file names are in Chinese, and it is designed around Chinese vertical short dramas.
  • Consistent looks rely on character, location and prop entries in a visual design file. Items missing there are listed in its closing report, and you add them with the suite's assets skill.
