Translates, polishes or summarises text you select, in your browser or on your desktop
You're halfway through a long article in another language, and copying each paragraph into a translator tab keeps breaking your focus.
For Students and language learnersWriters working in two languagesPeople who read foreign sources
NextAI Translator is an open-source translation tool that runs as a browser extension and as a desktop app. You select text, or take a screenshot, and it translates, polishes or summarises it across 55 languages, showing the result as it is written. It can also read text aloud and keep a vocabulary book with memory aids. It uses your own API key from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or another supported provider, and suits students, writers and anyone who reads in more than one language.
One shortcut gives you translation, rewriting and summaries in the same pop-up, wherever you happen to be reading.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.
