Researches a company from its name and returns a report with sources you can check
You have a call with a prospect tomorrow and know little about the company beyond its name.

Agent: Market Research is an official Dify template built on Dify's Agent node. You enter a company name; the agent searches public web sources and writes a structured report on the company, its products, positioning, competitors, pricing signals, opportunities, risks and suggested next steps, with source references. Before the first run you connect the search tools and let the agent set up its research skill in Build mode. It suits founders and sales or marketing staff preparing for a meeting or a pitch.
One input gives a sourced briefing, and the template shows how Dify's newer Agent node plans its own research steps.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

| Step | What happens | Data goes to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Company name | You type the company you want researched | Dify (cloud or your own) |
| 2 · Web search | The agent searches public sources through the Google and Jina tools | Search services |
| 3 · Analysis | An AI model weighs the evidence and notes facts it could not confirm | Your AI provider |
| 4 · Report | A structured report with risks, opportunities, recommendations and source references | Dify (cloud or your own) |
Prepare for a call or pitch by getting a structured overview of a company from public sources. The agent gathers information, notes what it could not find and cites where each finding came from.
