The problem it solves

You heard OpenClaw can run tasks for you on a schedule, but the setup guide starts with terminal commands and config files.

For Everyday usersPeople automating routine checksDevelopers

Overview

ClawX is a desktop app from ValueCell.ai that puts the OpenClaw agent behind a graphical interface, so you don't need the terminal. A setup wizard helps you connect an AI provider and pick skills; then you chat with agents, schedule recurring tasks and send results to messaging apps such as Telegram, WeChat or DingTalk. It bundles the OpenClaw runtime and stores provider keys in your system keychain. It suits people who want an always-on AI assistant without editing config files.

It turns OpenClaw's command-line setup into a guided wizard and settings screens, including scheduled tasks that report back to your chat apps.

Good to know

Set up an OpenClaw agent through a wizard, then chat with it or give it a scheduled job, such as a morning news summary sent to a messaging channel. Skills, channels and model providers are managed in settings screens instead of config files.

Limits

  • Agents act with the skills and channels you turn on, and scheduled tasks run while you are not watching. Read the output of one task before you connect a messaging account.
  • Computer Use is off by default and needs a model that accepts images plus screen permissions. Screenshots it reads are sent to your model provider.
