Overview

CloudCLI, also called Claude Code UI, is an open-source web interface for coding agents you already use: Claude Code, Cursor CLI and Codex. You start it with one npx command, open it in a browser, and it finds your existing sessions. From there you can chat with the agent, browse and edit files, review Git changes and use a built-in terminal, and other devices on your network, such as your phone, can open the same page. It suits people who already run one of these agents and want a visual window onto it.

It reads and writes the same settings your agent already uses, so sessions and MCP servers stay in one place instead of being copied.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Summarise what this project does and list its main folders. Don't change any files.First try · read-only

  2. Pick up my last session in [project name] and tell me where it stopped.

  3. Show the files changed on this branch and draft a commit message for them.

  4. Commit the staged changes with the message [message].writes to Git

Good to know

You run Claude Code, Cursor CLI or Codex on your computer and want to follow or continue a session away from the terminal. CloudCLI opens those sessions in a browser page with chat, files and Git side by side.

Limits

  • The self-hosted version runs on your own machine, which has to stay on, and your phone reaches it over the same network. The managed CloudCLI Cloud is a separate paid plan.
  • Claude Code tools are turned off by default; turn on only the ones a task needs. MCP servers and permissions you change here are also changed in Claude Code's own settings.
