Overview
Zapier for Claude Code is Zapier's own plugin. It adds the Zapier MCP connection plus four guided flows: an onboarding that signs you in, a short demo that runs one read action in an app you pick, a role-based setup that suggests which actions to turn on, and a status check that finds duplicates and problems. The plugin tells Claude to ask before any action that sends, creates or changes something. It suits people who want Claude Code to work with Gmail, Slack, Sheets and other apps but have not set up Zapier MCP before.
Instead of reading setup docs, you type "onboard zapier" and Claude walks you from sign-in to a first working action.

Good to know
You use Claude Code and want it to act in your work apps without reading setup guides. The plugin connects Zapier MCP, then its onboarding and demo skills sign you in and run one read action in an app you choose.
Limits
- Actions run through Zapier MCP and use two tasks from your Zapier plan per successful call, including the ones the onboarding and demo run.
- Claude Code on WSL may not receive the browser sign-in callback; Zapier's docs suggest a native Windows or macOS terminal instead.
