Overview

Reactive Resume is a free, open-source resume builder that runs in the browser. You import an old resume or start from a sample, pick one of 18 templates and see the page update as you write; checks flag readability problems and match keywords from a job posting. You download a PDF, Word, Markdown or JSON file, share a public link, and track applications on a board. It suits job seekers, students and anyone updating a CV.

It has no paid tier, ads or tracking, the AI assistant is optional with a provider you connect, and you can host the whole app yourself.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Start from the sample resume, change the name and one job entry, then download the PDF.First try

  2. Import my old resume as a PDF or LinkedIn export and fix the sections it brings in.

  3. Paste a job posting into the job match check and see which keywords are missing.

  4. Ask the assistant to make my summary shorter, then accept or reject its edit.uses your AI key
