Saves your AI conversations and files as local memory your assistant can search later
You start a new chat with your AI assistant and it has forgotten every decision you made together last week.
For DevelopersUsers of MCP-compatible tools
MemPalace stores your conversation history and project files on your own computer as the original text and lets your AI assistant search it by meaning. Content is organised into wings for people and projects, rooms for topics and drawers for the saved text, and an MCP server gives the assistant tools to read and write it. A knowledge graph and per-agent diaries sit on top. It suits people who run long projects with a coding assistant and want it to remember earlier decisions.
It keeps your words exactly as written instead of summaries, and says nothing leaves your machine unless you opt in.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

| Toolset | What your agent can do | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Finds saved conversations and files by meaning, narrowed by wing or room | Read |
| Palace writes | Files new content into drawers and manages existing ones | Read + write |
| Knowledge graph | Adds, queries and invalidates facts with valid-from and valid-to dates, stored in local SQLite | Read + write |
| Agent diaries | Gives each specialist agent its own wing and diary | Read + write |
| Agent coordination | Passes logstream events and artifact handoffs between agents | Read + write |
You work on a project with an AI assistant for weeks and each new chat starts blank. MemPalace saves past conversations and project files, then lets the assistant search them and answer with the original wording.
