Overview
Kimi is Moonshot AI's assistant with an agent mode that plans and carries out multi-step tasks on its own. You describe the job in plain words; it breaks it into steps, shows its progress and hands back a finished file: a slide deck, a Word or PDF document, an Excel sheet, a long research report or a website you can publish. It runs in the browser at kimi.com and in the Kimi phone app, and suits students, office workers and anyone who wants a finished draft rather than a chat answer.
One request can end in a downloadable deck, report or spreadsheet, or a live website with a database and sign-in, not just text in a chat.

Limits
- Agent tasks usually take 5 to 20 minutes, and one task usually returns a single file; Kimi points to Agent Swarm for several files at once.
- Agent shares one monthly credit pool with other membership features, including Kimi Code, and unused credits do not roll over.
