Three-Pass Chinese Proofreader

by 花叔SkillWrite better

Proofreads a Chinese article in three passes so it reads less like AI wrote it

View on GitHub

The problem it solves

You drafted a WeChat article with AI, and every paragraph opens with the same stock phrase and ends in a tidy list.

For Chinese-language writersWeChat article authorsVideo script writers

Before
You reread the draft line by line, guessing which sentences sound machine-made and rewriting them by hand.
After
Your agent checks facts, rewrites six kinds of AI-sounding phrasing, then evens out sentence length and paragraph rhythm.

Overview

This skill by 花叔 takes a draft through three rounds of review. The first checks facts, logic and structure. The second rewrites six kinds of AI-sounding writing: stock phrases, repeated sentence templates, stiff formal vocabulary, list-heavy structure, no clear stance and missing detail. The third evens out sentence length, paragraphs and rhythm. Its instructions and examples are in Chinese and aim at WeChat articles and video scripts, so it suits Chinese writers who draft with AI.

Each of the six habits it looks for comes with a before-and-after example, so you can see the kind of change it will make before you run it.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Run only the second pass on these paragraphs and show each change next to the original: [paste text]First try · suggests edits

  2. Proofread this article in all three passes: [paste article]

  3. List every sentence over 30 characters in this draft and suggest how to split it: [paste text]

  4. Check the facts, dates and product names in this article and mark anything you are unsure of: [paste article]may search the web

Good to know

Polish a Chinese article or video script that was drafted with AI before you publish it. The skill reviews facts first, then rewrites AI-sounding phrasing and finally adjusts sentence and paragraph rhythm for reading on a phone.

Limits

  • The instructions are written in Chinese for the author's own voice and refer to his personal notes folder, which will not exist on your computer. Expect it to aim for his plain, first-person style.
  • It is an editing method, not proof of authorship or a promise about AI detectors. Check that rewritten sentences keep your facts and figures, and do not let it add personal experiences you did not have.
