Overview
GenOffice is a free, open source office suite from Genspark for macOS, Windows and Linux, with apps for documents, spreadsheets, slides, PDF, Markdown and HTML. It opens and saves real .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files, and an AI panel beside each file makes the edits you ask for: tracked changes in documents, live formulas and charts in spreadsheets, and new slide decks from a prompt. You sign in with Genspark or add your own model key. It suits office workers who want AI help without leaving their files.
The AI writes its changes into the real Office file, as tracked changes or formulas you can roll back, instead of giving you text to copy over.

Good to know
Edit a Word report, build a spreadsheet summary or draft a slide deck with an AI that works inside the file. Each AI turn is saved as a snapshot you can roll back, and the result stays a normal Office file.
Limits
- Editing, saving and PDF conversion run on your computer, but AI features send requests to Genspark or the provider you choose, and usage charges may apply.
- Official builds send limited usage analytics by default; you can turn this off under Settings, General.
