Overview

Agent Reach is a command-line tool that gives your AI agent ways into sites it cannot read on its own: video subtitles from YouTube and Bilibili, posts on Reddit and X, notes on Xiaohongshu, GitHub issues, job listings and stock quotes. You paste one install line into your agent, and it sets up the tools and a skill so you can then just ask for what you want. It only searches and reads; it never posts. It suits researchers and anyone who follows topics on Chinese and English platforms.

One install covers 14 platforms, and when a site breaks one tool it falls back to another, so your agent's commands stay the same.

Try these first

Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

  1. Search YouTube for [topic] and give me the subtitles of the top result.First try · read-only

  2. Which Agent Reach channels work right now, and which need a login?

  3. Read the top Reddit threads about [product] this month and summarise the main complaints.uses your login

  4. Add Xiaohongshu, then find notes about [topic] and list the five most discussed.uses your login

Good to know

You want an agent to gather what people say about a topic on YouTube, Bilibili or Reddit, including video subtitles. Agent Reach installs the tools for each platform and a skill that tells the agent how to call them.

Limits

  • Login channels reuse that site's login copied from your Chrome, usually your main account; platforms may restrict accounts used for automation.
  • Experimental channels such as X, Facebook and Instagram can stop working when a platform changes. The PyPI package named agent-reach is a different project.
