Overview
Rowboat is an open-source AI assistant you install on your computer. It reads your email, meetings and notes into a linked knowledge base stored as plain Markdown files, sorts your inbox, drafts replies to important email and summarises meetings it records. You can set background agents to run on a schedule or when new email arrives, and share Spaces with your team. It suits busy professionals and small teams who want their work context kept on their own machine.
Its memory is a set of plain Markdown notes you can open and edit, rather than context hidden inside a model.

Limits
- Connecting Gmail, Calendar and Drive needs Google OAuth credentials you create in Google Cloud Console, following the project's guide.
- Drafts and agents use the model you connect. Read each draft before sending, and keep the first background agent small.
