Turns a website into a table of data by recording a few clicks, and watches it for changes
Every Monday you copy prices from the same three websites into a spreadsheet, row by row.

Maxun is an open source web data platform with a visual interface. You open a website in its recorder, click the list or fields you want, show it how to go to the next page, and it saves a robot that pulls the same data into a structured table on every run. You can also describe what you need in plain words, save whole pages as Markdown or screenshots, crawl a site and get notified when a page changes. Use the hosted version in your browser or run your own copy with Docker. It suits researchers, marketers and small teams who copy data from websites by hand.
You teach it by clicking through the page once, so a repeat data-collection job needs no code.
Start with the first one: it is a small task you can check easily.

| Feature | What it does | Runs |
|---|---|---|
| Recorder Mode | Click the list and fields you want and show how to go to the next page; it saves a reusable robot | Websites you open |
| Describe it in words | Say what data you need: AI Mode on your own copy (needs a model key), an Agent on the hosted version | Model provider or hosted |
| Scrape and crawl | Save pages as Markdown, HTML or screenshots, or go across a whole site | Websites you open |
| Monitoring | Track a page over time, detect changes and get notified | Cloud or your server |
| Documents | Pull data from uploaded PDF, Word, spreadsheet and image files; the docs call it beta | Files you upload |
| Self-hosting | Run your own copy with Docker, free under the AGPL | Your server |
Collect the same fields from a web page on a repeat basis, such as product names and prices from a listing. You record the steps once in the visual recorder and run the saved robot to get a table.
