Overview
Dossier is a self-hosted job search app. You enter your career history once; for each job you paste a posting and it shows how you match, then drafts a tailored resume and cover letter that use only facts from your profile. You refine the drafts in a chat, download them as PDFs and follow each application on a board from draft to offer. It runs on your own computer or server with an AI model you choose, including a local one.
Drafts use only facts from your profile, and with a local AI model your documents stay on your own hardware.

Good to know
You are applying to several jobs and want a resume and cover letter written for each posting from one profile. Dossier shows how you match a posting, drafts both documents and keeps every application on a board.
Limits
- It is made for one person: one password and one profile, and the interface is in English only.
- Dossier is made for a laptop or desktop browser, not for phones.
- A hosted AI model receives the text Dossier sends to it; a local model keeps everything on your own hardware.
