Overview

OpenBitFun is an open-source desktop app with a built-in agent runtime. You pick a model, open a workspace and give the agent a goal; it plans the steps, calls tools and reports back. Four modes range from quick back-and-forth to splitting a big task among several agents, and a phone or browser can send instructions to a computer running a task. Mini Apps let you build small tools by describing them.

It pairs a Rust agent runtime with a desktop app, and you build small Mini Apps by describing them to the agent.

Good to know

You want one desktop workspace where an agent can plan and carry out a task in your project. OpenBitFun keeps the session, lets you pick how much structure the agent uses, and shows progress on a task board.

Limits

  • You must add a model under Settings → Models first; OpenCode Zen offers free models or pay-as-you-go access.
  • Controlling a computer from your phone uses the official Relay and sign-in with an OpenBitFun account (GitHub or an email code).
