Overview

Human Input: Writing Assistant is an official Dify template. You give it a topic, a platform (X, LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram) and, if you like, an audience and a goal; one AI model writes a first draft, then the workflow pauses until you approve it or ask for changes. If you send feedback, a second model rewrites the draft with your notes. It suits marketers and small teams who want AI drafts but keep the final say.

Its pause step means nothing is finished until a person approves it, a clear example of keeping a human check inside an AI workflow.

Good to know

Draft a social post from a short brief and stop for a human decision before it is final. The Human Input node shows the draft and lets you approve it or send notes for a rewrite.

Limits

  • The Human Input node waits 3 days for a response by default; change the timeout in the node settings if you need longer.
  • The template uses GPT-4o for the draft and a Claude model for the rewrite, so both providers must be set up in your Dify workspace before it runs.
