## What it does

Replit is an online workspace where you chat with its Agent to build apps and sites. You describe what you want, with text, screenshots or sketches; Agent plans the change, writes the code and shows a live preview you can check, with checkpoints you can roll back to. When it works, you publish it to a replit.app web address. It runs in the browser, with desktop apps for macOS and Windows, and suits people with an idea but no coding background as well as developers.

- The free Starter plan only has Lite build, limited daily credits and one published app whose link goes down after 30 days. Plan mode, Full build and third-party connectors need Core or Pro.
- Publishing makes the app public at its replit.app address. The preview link is private and temporary, so share only the published link.

Suggested first task: Ask Agent for a one-page site for a neighbourhood coffee shop with opening hours and a short menu. Check it in Preview, change one thing, then publish it and open the live link.
